Home Information Packs (HIP)

It is a UK legal requirement for properties marketed for sale to have a Home Information Pack, commonly known as a ‘HIP’. The HIP must be available for prospective purchasers to view.

Your HIP will contain important information about your property, which will aid a prospective purchaser in deciding whether or not to make an offer. Your HIP will contain the following…

	Statement of Sale
	PIQ - Property Information Questionnaire
	EPC - Energy Performance Certificate (involves a visit to your property)
	Drainage and Water Enquiries
	Personal Local Authority Searches
	Copy of the Individual Register and Title Plan
	Copy of the Lease (If your property is Leasehold)

We at Adept Property Services prepare your complete HIP; you only need to complete the Property Information Questionnaire. We are registered with the Property Codes Compliance Board as a subscriber to the HIP Code meaning that all our HIPs comply with this strict code and are covered by £2 Million Professional Indemnity Insurance.

HIPs are available initially as a Basic HIP (for first day marketing), and then as a complete HIP (once searches are completed).

Standard Prices:

Complete HIP (with EPC) from only £230.00 + VAT (dependent on location)

HIP (without EPC) from only £180.00 + VAT
